HawkeEye wrote Whether developing for a Fortune 500 company or a hobby, knowing your audience and balancing cost and effort with needed results is key. In my case most if not all are over 70, do not use tablets, and would never use a smartphone to examine high resolution images. No matter the size of the site nor the complexity, coding non-commercial static data that will only be viewed on large screens by a very limited audience (+-150 people) does not require complex code. What is needed is an easy, cost effective method of presenting data for the audience. Muse offers that and in this instance it fits. Understanding your audience and required end result is always key for any product/project whether creating a rocket or a bag of pretzels. I know many things I would do differently in the site if it were for commercial use, but it is not and will never be one with such limited audience and appeal. Thanks for the suggestion on WYSIWYG Web Builder whoever posted it and I will check it out. I need a Windows based replacement over time, but having had time to think, three years is a long time to figure this out and a lot will change in the timeframe. Good luck to everyone seeking a solution to the end of Muse. Signing out. I relate a lot with what you say here, being in much the same situation myself. Working on a number of web sites one charitable and the others as a hobby. My sites like yours are very large and most of my time is spent on researching for material for the website, which unfortunately leaves very little time for website design. So the website for me has to be secondary to the content, which perhaps is difficult for some to understand if designing websites for a living. The largest of my sites dates back to 1999 and I was getting near a complete rebuild with Muse. The update more than likely won't make a big difference to the number of visitors, as it's the content which is of most interest to them. You can obviously attract people to a brilliantly designed website but they simply won't come back if there is nothing of interest there! Put it this way, it's not the present design of my website which puts it number one on Goole search!. I suggested the WYSIWYG Web Builder software, I hope it works out for you if you choose it.
